How do gift subscriptions work?
As the gifter, you simply select the number of coffee deliveries (3, 6, or 12), along with the date you'd like them to to receive the good news!
We take it from there. On your chosen date, your recipient receives an email with your personalized message and a link to redeem the gift.
In just a few clicks, they select their first coffee and delivery date.
What if I don't know the recipient's address?
No problem at all! Your recipient adds their own shipping address when they redeem the gift.
Which coffees can the recipient choose from?
Your gift recipient chooses between nine of our best-selling coffees—a range of styles and roasts—either as whole bean or ground.

What if they pick a coffee that costs less than the gift?
The recipient receives a gift balance that matches the price of your gift. If they have selected a coffee that costs less than your gift total, the difference stays on their account as a credit and can be applied towards a future subscription order.
Can they pick a coffee that costs more?
The lineup of coffees that they initially choose from are appropriately priced for the number of deliveries (either 3, 6, or 12)
However, yes — once their account has been created, their gift balance is really theirs to spend as they see fit.
If the recipient switches to a more expensive coffee in their account, or increases to a bulk bag size, they will simply move through their gift balance more quickly.
Can the recipient change their delivery schedule?
Yes. Once the gift is redeemed, the subscription is theirs to manage.
They can change their coffee, their grind, and how often shipments arrive at any time.
When will my recipient find out?
Your recipient will find out on the date you choose when you place the order.
The email includes your name, your message, and the Equator Coffees link to claim the gift.
What if they missed the email?
Reach out to us at info@equatorcoffees.sbs and we will resend the gift email.
